My wife surprised me with this truck because I been looking for one that I had back in High School. I found this one in Nevada. She purchased it and had it transported to Bend for us. Once it showed up, my son looked at it and asked when he gets to drive it. I let him know that we are going to clean it up and when he is of age he can drive it around. We are planning on getting is cleaned up and restored back to the best of our abilities. We are hoping that we can get it going during this winter so we can start driving it around this summer and start joining people for car shows. We have been meeting a lot of people on this adventure. We hope to start joining people this summer for car meets and just cruising around town. This project has giving me and my son time to grow together and bond. It feels nice to get him away from videogames and teaching him stuff that he can use when he gets older. Now when he is over he wants to go to the shop and work on the truck. It’s nice to see the smile on his face wile he works. The truck is taking more than what I thought and planed but we are figuring it out. We found some parts locally, in Kenya, and in Thailand, If you want to know more please feel free to email me at carl@benddatsun.com
