New Wheels

I finally got my new Meg wheels the other day. Today I took two of them and started getting them cleaned and ready to remove the black paint. Once they are clean then will get them buffed out. In Tank Pump

I got the my stock tank removed and out of 8 bolts only snapped two of them. They were the two in the front that was hard to get the blaster on. Will have to deal with them later ????. But have to have just a couple modifications to do for the back bracket bolts and the side of the tank. Preparing For Tank

Well got the truck on jack stands and tank drained. Going to spray the bolts down with some PB Blaster before removing them. Also going to remove the wheels getting ready to fix the E brake cable and ready for the new rims.

New Tank

I didn’t think I would get my new custom tank back this fast. In the next couple weeks need to find time to drop my current tank and test this one. Once tested make what needs to be adjusted and get the pump on. Also have to work with @510bendor to get a sending unit built for the new tank. This tank should hold more than the stock tank. Gasket Making

As we all know trying to find supplies, parts and sometimes gaskets for our projects. Well I purchased a device that I can trace a part or gasket. Take a photo with an app and it will send me to scale an image for our laser machine. Well I traced a old gasket from a Weber carburetor and tested it. Well with out cleaning up the image or anything it didn’t turn out bad. Once the file was loaded in the laser it was ent more than 2 min I had a good gasket. The test was done on scrap wood because gasket material can be expensive. Cleanup

After dealing with a shipping company to ship stuff over seas came home to start carving and started stripping the last parts truck to get it out of here.

Center Counsel Plate

Finally finished making a blank plate for the center counsel. Tested with wood first then the final one out of black acrylic. I cut out the hole for the fuel pressure gauge and a little cutout for the Holly Sniper cable for the display. Had to make it fit just right around all the edges because someone cut this up good. Now to make a small bracket to secure it in.
